Role Overview
At Escalent, the Vice President of an Industry Practice is a role that sits in our consultative selling career path called Consultative Sales. This position requires prior experience providing insights, market analysis or consulting that•s grounded in research or behavioral analytics.
This position is for those who have achieved a level of credibility in research and the industry, who have a solid track record of achieving a revenue target and are capable of leading a consultative selling process from proposal through close and delivery.
This Vice President - Auto & Mobility position role will inherit the client relationship for an existing OEM account. The majority of the work will focus on expertly overseeing the delivery of existing work, expanding services and reach within this client and securing renewals of custom research solution including online communities. In addition, this person will be expected to expand business with other prospects and actively demonstrate thought leadership of research for the Auto industry.
Base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan tied to Net Revenue Delivered. The plan includes Commissions payable on a monthly basis. Total OTE can vary widely based on performance.
Travel is expected to be around 10% (up to 4 times per year)
This role will also manage 2 employees who support the work for this OEM.
