The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) role is to maintain our pharmacy database with up-to-date and accurate information.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
- Must have a valid driver's license and have means of transportation.
- Minimum of high school education is required.
- CNA is required. Completion of a state approved training program in medication administration with certificate received.
- Minimum of one-year experience working with a frail or elderly population required.
- Ordering, receiving and storage of medications.
- Distribution and discontinuation of medications.
- Maintaining all required documentation
