Job Title: Temporary QuickBooks Auditing Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to undertake a special clerical project for one of our esteemed clients. This project entails reviewing five years of tax returns and cross-referencing the tax information with the data stored in QuickBooks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and consistency between the tax returns and QuickBooks records.

Responsibilities:
1. Review five years of tax returns provided by the client.
2. Compare the tax information on the returns with the corresponding data in QuickBooks.
3. Identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the tax returns and QuickBooks records.
4. Flag any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel for further investigation and resolution.
5. Maintain detailed documentation of findings and actions taken during the review process.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on the progress of the project.
7. Ensure strict confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations throughout the project.

Requirements:
1. Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred. The candidate must have prior experience navigating and working within QuickBooks.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings and collaborate with team members.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player when necessary.
6. Prior experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred but not required.
7. High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.

Duration: This is a temporary project-based position expected to last until the completion of the Project, about 1 month.
