Job Summary:Provide case management and intervention for students identified as at risk due to concerns about the student's general well-being or specific behaviors that may be disruptive, threatening, or otherwise harmful to the student or campus community. Serve as a member of the ICare Team and collaborate with the ICare Team to identify students in need of case management, intervention and follow-up. Assist with the development and implementation of outreach programs regarding the ICare Team to the College community, and establish and maintain collaborative and consultative working relationships within the College. Assist with data collection, analysis and reporting. This position reports to the Program Director in the Office of ICare and Student Support. This position periodically provides supervision for a graduate intern if there is one working in the office.Job Responsibilities:1. Serve as a primary contact for College community members who have concerns about student behavior, both in and outside of the classroom. 2. Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine student's needs and formulate and recommend case action plans.3. Maintain relationships as needed with identified students consistent with care action plans.4. Respond to urgent concerns about identified students during business hours.5. Provide timely updates to the ICare Team and other members of the campus community regarding specific cases.6. Initiate parental/emergency contact as allowed through Family Educational Rights and Privacy ACT (FERPA).7. Assist in maintaining and managing student information and records to include the timely processing and assigning of reports and maintaining online files related to student follow-up8. Provide support to students seeking to return to college from SOC related circumstances.9. Serve as an ICare team member and lead team meetings and activities as needed. prepare agendas, exercises, and minutes. Coordinate ICare team communications.10. Assist with coordinating training for the ICare Team.11. Develop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and Contribute to cultivating an inclusive, diverse and respectful College community. Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. 12. Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive training and outreach programs for the campus community, and serve as a resource providing workshops, presentations, and consultations.13. Develop and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with representatives of academic departments, student services, and students regarding student wellness policies and procedures.14. Maintain membership in professional organizations and continue professional development to remain current with national practices and standards.Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and a minimum of three years of experience working in a college or counseling setting preferred ; direct experience in case management; strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment are required.
