Position Summary

Rehrig Pacific has a need for a hard-working, self-motivated Technical Client support ML Intern to join our technology services team. This individual will be exposed to both the implementation and support of data collection technology systems (RFID, GPS, Machine Learning). This individual will learn how these systems integrate with our products and how we leverage them to optimize the logistics of the supply chain. During the internship this individual will also become familiar with the hardware and software we support related to our customer facing technology solutions. This position will be a hybrid role for the summer of 2024. Home base is Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Outlined Responsibilities

  • Weekly ML QA
    • Perform quality checks on machine learning images
    • Adjust labels and other machine learning characteristics
    • Resolve and document issues that arise
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Customer facing Hardware/ Software
    • Install and configure necessary firmware or software for various devices
    • Troubleshoot customer data and software issues
    • Validate software versions
    • Troubleshoot Communication layer issues (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Network)
  • Implementation
    • Assist with portal setups and data loads
    • Scrub product SKU lists and note exceptions
    • Load daily files as needed
  • Monitor and Maintenance of Hosting Environment
    • Participate in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing
  • Data annotation
    • Perform data annotation as part of our ML process.
    • Document issues and processes
    • Help to develop best practices for data annotation.
  • Case and issue tracking
    • Exposure to salesforce.com
    • Log and track customer issues in Jira Service desk and Service cloud
  • Technologies
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Force.com
    • JDE Edwards
    • Tableau
    • Machine Learning and Data models
Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
  • Detail Orientated
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direction, multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to use Microsoft excel is a must
  • Exposure to SQL Server and database technologies preferred
  • Pursuing an Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Data Science or Business degree
