Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Early Learning Institute is seeking a full-time temporary hourly technical aide for high-level support across the functions of the clinical settings. This individual will be responsible for day to day operations support, research support for MA students, PhD candidates and research faculty within the institute. This individual will also be responsible for substantial medical patient care, maintaining electronic medical records for the institute, supporting the BCBAs with programming for clientele in addition to supporting and training incoming staff during probationary periods, and on-going training support for subsequent all-staff training sessions. This position will also have responsibility for running and overseeing small learning/social groups, assisting technicians to maintain constant effective therapeutic services for clients across all environments, implement programming in inclusive therapeutic environments and provides leadership to clinic by offering suggestions and guidance during training and program implementation.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Child Development or related field, or experience commensurate to a Bachelor's degree.

2-4 years of consistent implementation of ABA-based therapy in a clinical setting.

Proven leadership and training experience in an ABA-based clinical setting specific to children ages 2-4 with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
