Who We Are:
The Tribology research and evaluations group undertakes client testing and research to answer real world friction and wear problems.
Objectives of this Role:
- Assist the Tribology group with testing.
- Work on the seal testing for a Navy engine project.
- Work efficiently in a team setting, assisting others as well as asking for help.
- Use tribology test rigs to undertake testing programs for clients.
- Complete basic CAD design of test holders.
- Process data.
- Write the data as a report or summary for delivery to clients.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0-1 years: Testing experience using Bruker TriboLab test rig
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
