Job Summary:

Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a non-profit organization within the DC area to aid in their search for a Staff Accountant. This position will report directly to their lead controller and will be responsible for reconciliations, working with vendors, and preparing journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Analyze budgets and create expense reports.
• Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns.
• Processing reconciliations associated with credit cards, banks, and the GL.
• Working with vendors for W9 set-up, entering banking info, handling any issues with invoices.
• Experience with high volume AP is highly coveted.
• Prepare documents for audit.
• Process journal entries.
