Sr. Project Manager

Job Summary:

Mueller is looking for a Senior Project Manager to implement, manage, organize and coordinate Automated Meter Installation (AMI) small or medium sized projects utilizing standard methodology. You will utilize a Statement of Work (SOW) to coordinate the efforts of Mueller Systems resources providing inputs through define, design, implement and deployment phases within a defined budget. The ideal candidate will be a leader with industry knowledge of AMI and Projects. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. The overall goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to the customers and our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead projects by managing to a SOW
• Launch projects on time with given budget and resource constraints using phase gate methodology
• Clear communication both internal and with the customer at multiple levels up to the executive level.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills or focus on a high visible project through the phases to completion.
• Support development, implementation, and training of program/project management tools and processes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience or related work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering-related field
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS office products
• Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives
• Proven ability to build relationships and manage cross-functional teams
• Experience using PMI methodology to develop scope documents, project management plans, communication plans, project schedules, change management and risk and issue logs
