Sr. Engineering Manager - Stormwater Master Plan Lead

What We're Looking For:
The main function of this role is to provide management and technical leadership services on the development of city-wide stormwater master plan and/or design projects while maintaining Barge's PM procedures, business goals, and objectives in a manner that results in positive business impact and a great employee experience. Time will be spent developing and growing the stormwater master plan practice for the firm and leading related projects. This role is expected to maintain and grow client relationships while also being able to provide technical leadership on projects.

Responsibilities:
* This role will serve as the subject matter specialist for the stormwater master planning practice for the firm.
* Works to grow the stormwater master planning practice for the firm, which includes:
Leading the development of technical approaches for competitive pursuits.
Serving as the technical lead for stormwater master planning issues.
Ensures that technical staff capabilities are growing to meet future demands.
Presents at conferences and helps increase the Barge brand.
Grows the financial success of the practice area.
* Works with Leadership, CSLs, and PMs to develop & grow business opportunities related to the stormwater master planning practice.
* Leads projects that have significant impact on meeting financial, business, and strategic goals for the firm and facilitates a collaborative work environment that advances initiatives and supports a positive workplace culture.
* Active role in advising and executing strategic and business planning activities related to stormwater and water resources.
* Supports other projects by providing H/H modeling and support for site development and transportation projects.
* Attends various leadership meetings.
* Performs other duties as requested.

Supervision:
* May manage other professionals. This role will support talent management responsibilities for a group of individuals including, but not limited to hiring, coaching, separation.
* This role leads a group of professionals through a project.
* This role mentors other professionals.

Expectations:
* Leadership and technical guidance that drive financial metrics and quality expectations of mid-sized and less conventional projects.
* Grows stormwater master planning practice for the firm.
* Develops and implements a plan to sell work related to practice area.
* Embraces and champions our Purpose, Vision, and Values with all employees, teams, and direct reports.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
* Strong leadership and technical credibility.
* Influences stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships within and outside Barge.
* Ability to effectively lead collaborative multi-discipline teams and lead concurrent projects and deadlines.
* Ability to make sound business decisions guided by agreed upon strategies.
* Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and SWMM-based software is required. Two-dimensional modeling experience is a plus.

* Bachelor's degree from accredited program. Minimum of 10 years' experience in the development of stormwater master plans for cities/counties and large sites.
*Professional engineering license.

* Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) is a plus.
