As the leader of the compensation and benefits function, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a global total rewards strategy across SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS). Early key objectives will focus on creating a compensation strategy for our North America operations across all levels including the executive tier. More broadly, you will work with the SUEZ Group and WTS regional HR leaders to ensure the total rewards program aligns to the collective SUEZ strategy, while promoting flexibility within the regions.

Your consultative approach will help align the compensation philosophy with business needs, taking into account economic drivers, competitive pressures and other factors. You should be comfortable working at the executive level and able to leverage data driven insights to influence program development. Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, or Relevant Field
  • 10+ years' experience in compensation and benefits or similar role with experience in building/evaluating compensation and/or bonus programs for various departments and seniority level.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with job evaluation processes and job analysis systems (for example: Hay grading methodology)

Definition and Implementation of the Compensation & Benefits Policy

  • Contributes to the definition of the WTS compensation & benefits HR strategy
  • Develops and implements a compensation & benefits policy and projects to satisfy the operational needs and objectives
  • Work closely with SUEZ Group compensation & benefit representative to ensure that WTS follows SUEZ Group C&B policy (Topex, Sharing, Talents, etc.), and maximize the potential synergies with the Group when possible

Advising and Supporting Management

  • Raises management awareness of the challenges of compensation & benefits
  • Advises and supports the WTS HR teams in terms of C&B

Compensation

  • Organizes and monitors reporting, benchmarking, and audits in this area
  • Monitors shifting pay scales in the organization and makes recommendations in terms of compensation packages
  • Ensures that all the compensation processes (salary review, LTI, annual incentives, etc.), are properly followed for the entire WTS population
  • Provides WTS Topex management all the needed information, through salary analysis and benchmark, to make right decisions

Benefits

  • Defines all WTS pension and health insurance policies in coordination with regional HR managers
  • Negotiates with benefit and health insurance providers and partners to get the best solutions for our employees within the budget defined by WTS top management
  • Ensures management of salary savings plans and employee shareholding programs

Job Evaluation

  • Organizes the job evaluation process and ensures consistency amongst across WTS
  • Undertakes job evaluations for key BU posts
  • With the support of appropriate tools (mapping), provides a clear and shared overview of the organization and roles within area of responsibility

International Mobility

  • Defines and implements the international mobility C&B policy within area of responsibility
  • Selects the providers (immigration consultant, relocation agencies, etc.) that are needed to support all the international mobility policy with the Group

Team Management & Development

  • Defines the organization of department and is responsible for the management of its budget
  • Working closely with WTS regional HR, animates the learning and development HR network within WTS
