Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Talent Management Partner to our Construction Industries Segment and Earthmoving Division. What you will do:

  • Leads global talent management process, program, practice, and system deployment efforts that aim to measure, develop, manage, and retain the organization's talent pool.
  • Serving as a thought leader for talent management programs and technology; Providing advice and support to business and HR leaders, addressing talent management related questions and requests.
  • Ensuring effectiveness of programs and providing feedback to other Center of Excellence partners for process, program, practice, and system design.
  • Leading change management initiatives associated with talent management activities.
What you will have:

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in Talent Management and Development

Knowledge of Organization and Business Acumen : Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance. Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Alignment: Knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies. Articulates the organization's mission, values, and goals persuasively.

Data Gathering, Reporting and Problem Solving: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Leadership Development and Succession Planning: Knowledge of leadership development methods, tools, and techniques; ability to design and implement leadership development programs. Knowledge of policies, techniques, methods, and processes of succession planning; ability to identify and develop internal employees for the future fulfillment of an organization's core positions.

Talent Management Training and Development: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals. Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.

Talent Transformation: Knowledge of the concept and strategies of talent transformation; ability to harness the potential and skills of employees to help them reach leadership positions while achieving the organization's strategic business objectives. Analyzes and anticipates critical workforce trends which help in shaping and executing business strategy.
