Meet the team:

Strategic Contracting and Operations is responsible for enabling commercial strategies for the US through effective contract lifecycle management. The Senior Manager will ensure Dexcom's continued success through the execution and administration of channel, commercial and government contracts with our strategic customers. The Senior Manager will collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure that agreements meet strategic objectives, center on customer value, are operationally efficient, and balance risk. Operating with a continuous improvement mindset, this position will demonstrate a purposeful focus on contracting opportunities to impact revenue, the customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalability supporting Dexcom's rapid growth.

This Senior Manager is responsible for the successful leadership of a team, capable of managing the contract lifecycle through all stages from initiation, negotiation, and execution through post-execution contract administration. This individual will contribute strong leadership and influencing skills, provide SME market access guidance for multiple programs involving cross-functional teams, enterprise solutions and services to drive new solutions and key performance reporting.

  • You lead teams responsible for complete contract lifecycle management process, including effective contract creation, administration, and compliance efforts.
  • You are responsible for developing and retaining a high-performing team that produces quality work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • You develop and implement contract strategies and templates to maximize market access and distribution for products while ensuring contracts protect business interests and long-term profitability objectives.
  • You lead timely and accurate support of gross-to-net operations, including trade, retail, and government rebate programs.
  • You establish and enforce adherence to operating procedures, contracting guidelines, and best practices across the team.
  • You communicate channel wide KPIs, contracting analytics, and strategic insights to the leadership team.
  • You provide subject matter expertise in contracting strategy development, with a focus on distribution networks, and applicable industry regulation and compliance requirements.
  • You provide cross-functional leadership, in collaboration with Legal, Market Access (Channel), Digital Health, Revenue Accounting, Pricing, Patient Support and Forecasting/Analytics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful:
  • You have significant leadership experience in contracting and applicable operational areas within the US medical device industry.
  • You have subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical and DME supply chain, managed care contracting, and reimbursement practices.
  • You are proficient in contract lifecycle management (CLM), revenue management systems (rebates, fees, chargebacks), ERP and Tableau.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present compelling arguments to a variety of audiences, both internal and external.
  • You show a proven track record of successful contract analysis and negotiation of business terms.
  • You demonstrate an ability to drive improvements in cross-functional collaboration across an organization.
  • You manage ambiguity, prioritize business needs, and balance competing interests.
  • You possess strong financial, analytical, and writing skills.
  • You demonstrate project management or lean/continuous improvement successes.
  • You show a track record of successful innovation and change management initiatives.

Travel Required:

  • 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of industry experience
  • 5-8 years of previous people management experience

Salary:
$116,600.00 - $194,400.00
