The Senior Cash and Assets Controller will be a key contributor to the NAM Performance Controlling team. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Finance (Performance Controlling - Management Reporting, Planning & Analytics) and will demonstrate high professional judgment competence; also, will drive change to existing concepts and methodologies.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Cash and Assets Controller , you will be responsible for:

  • Driving North America (NAM) Cash and Assets-related Planning sessions, perform projections and document monthly Forecast as well as annual Budget submissions.
  • Performing critical analysis on Balance Sheet actual performance and forecast deviations, establish systematic root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable improvement measures.
  • Developing Cash and Assets-related executive reports and analysis for NAM SHS Business Units.
  • Identifying, initiating, and following up on Operating Working Capital (OWC) improvement activities and define Cash projects along with the related process enhancements.
  • Enhance Cash and Assets-related reporting, analysis, and forecasting, including the maintenance of Balance Sheet structures in NAM planning tool.
  • Establishing KPI's and dashboards; collaborate with stakeholders in making and confirming conclusions on results and trends to support decision making.
  • Co-managing NAM local Planning tool, leading system design and supporting troubleshooting (jointly with the system administrator).
  • Support processes for closer collaboration between all local departments: Business Lines controlling, Customer Supply Chain, Customer Service, Cash Collection team, etc.
  • Active participation in Performance Controlling projects and Corporate Initiatives (e.g., Company Annual Book Value, RIC control for DX leased assets, etc.).
  • Keep abreast with changes of internal guidelines and external accounting standards.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration or related discipline required. MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist on decision making.
  • Advanced communication skills to clearly present key issues and recommended actions
  • Strong understanding of strategic business goals.
  • Ability to form relationships and collaborate across global matrixed functions.
  • Displays strategic thinking in identifying and developing automated solutions to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Deep knowledge of systems and finance controlling required
