We are seeking a Senior Accountant (Reporting, Analytics, Technical Accounting) to work in our growing and stable organization. This role will be a key component in our core corporate accounting team and report to the Manager, Financial Reporting. The Senior Accountant will have the opportunity to work in a high-performance team with individuals who have both public and private accounting experience from large companies.

The Senior Accountant will handle a variety of Reporting, Analytics and Technical Accounting responsibilities and will be responsible for providing organizational leaders with accurate and timely financial data for decision-making. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of the U.S. GAAP Financial Statements including Footnotes.
  • Understand and analyze the movement of account balances in order to document material fluctuations from period to period during the month-end/quarter closing process.
  • Participate in Big4 annual external financial audit. Prepare audit workpapers and work directly with auditors to answer questions regarding schedules provided.
  • Assist in the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Perform technical accounting research and draft memos for accounting management for both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Support in communications and reporting with the publicly traded parent company.
  • Ad hoc reporting and other projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
  • Active Certified Public Accountant license or achievement towards CPA license is a plus.
  • 2 -3 years of public accounting experience, external audit required.
  • 1-2 years of private industry experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Understanding of IFRS is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, flexible skills, and an ability to manage well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to plan and monitor activities according to priorities and multi-task
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated with a high customer service orientation for both internal/external relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel (V-look ups, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and speak) is a plus.

Pay Range: $95,000-$110,000
