Job Summary:

Electric Power Division (EPD) has an opening for a Senior Account Manager. In this role you will oversee and coordinate all sales and marketing activities for a significant client or specific client group.

What you will do:
• Consult with dealers and internal business partners on the subject of sales and service support of product to "corporate account" customers.
• Designing processes for informing customer of rates, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
• Working directly with customers to collect information, sell additional products and services to current customers, and ensure customers' needs are met.

• Anticipates customer needs, focusing efforts to proactively meet needs and exceed customer expectations.

Industry Knowledge: Experiential knowledge of common practices and trends within the data center industry and ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Working knowledge of the range of industry standard products and services from basic to flag-ship and why different customers select within this range
• Demonstrates current knowledge of the regulatory environment for industry segment.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Differentiates assumptions, perspectives, and historical frameworks.
• Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making outcomes

• Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives.

Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

• Participates in negotiating the terms of the business relationship.
• Maintains productive, long-term relationships with clients or vendors.
• Creates opportunities to educate support teams on client priorities.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the generator packaging industry, specifically with respect to large, global data center customers.
  • Strong experience with reviewing and applying customer specifications including consulting with customers on the implications of and potential conflicts within their specifications.
  • Deep expertise in all phases of the generator and packaging sales process from customer forecasting, spec review / CDE's, purchase agreement, engineering, manufacturing, delivery and commissioning.
  • Comfortable with a knowledge based, consultative approach to sales and relationship management.
Additional Information:
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available.
  • The position is located in Griffin, GA.
  • The position requires domestic travel up to 30%.
