As a Technician in Engineering Services, you'll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.

As a Technician/Specialist, a typical day might include the following:

• Apply concepts in the planning, design, testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
  
• Develop and maintain a basic level of knowledge in the detail design practices of SEL protection and automation systems as well as quality standards.
  
• Conduct tests in support of department objectives, documenting and reporting malfunctions and identifying/analyzing undesirable trends.
  
• Perform wiring modifications and physical installation of electrical protection, control, and automation equipment as required.
  

This job might be for you if:

• Have the ability to provide technical service and/or engineering support in an engineering environment
  
• Have an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent certification, training and experience
  
• Are able to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and wiring diagrams
  
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  
• Familiarity with Autocad, Microstation and AcSELerator Quickset and industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus)

Pay Range Data

Technician I $25.43 - $37.22 per hour.

Technician II $28.79 - $43.22 per hour.

Technician III $32.16 - $50.2 per hour.

Specialist I $59,900.00 - $89,900.00 per year

Specialist II $66,900 - $104,500.00 per year

Specialist III $76,100.00 - $118,900.00 per year

Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
