Quantitative Analyst Job Title: Quantitative Analyst
Location: Alexandria, VA (3 days onsite)
Salary: $140k-$160k + profit sharing (~20% bonus)
Skills: Quantitative Analysis, Regression Modeling, Python, SQL, Predictive Modeling, Time-Series Modeling, Master's or Ph.D in Statistics.

Note: We are looking for people with Regression modeling experience for real world problems (academia or professionally). The ideal candidate will also be strong with Python (must do hands-on coding) and SQL. A Master's or Ph.D in Data Science, Statistics, etc is highly preferred. You will be working 3 days onsite per week in the office and 2 remotely. We will transfer sponsorships and offer relocation packages if needed.

We are a fast growing energy quantitative firm that's growing rapidly and looking to add more Quant analysts to our Alexandria-based Quant office.
What You Will Be Doing -Perform descriptive data analysis and data mining to uncover underlying the quantitative relationship between available factors and market signals. Collaborate with other team members to learn market fundamentals and apply market knowledge in quantitative analysis.
-Build and maintain predictive models with statistical rigor.
-. Collaborate with other team members to improve model performance as well as integrate predictive models into our trading strategies and production trading ystems.
-Perform regular evaluation on predictive models.
- Regularly seek out opportunities to improve our predictive models. Assist with creating automated performance assessment systems.
-Work independently to turn experimental models into production-ready systems.
-Maintain the production modeling system and actively adapt the model to new requirements as they arise and new market dynamics are understood.
-Participate in on-call responsibilities to troubleshoot live production modeling systems.
