Position Summary:The Simon S. Selig, Jr. Center for Economic Growth invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, non-instructional faculty position. This position will serve as a Public Service Assistant in the Simon J. Selig Center for Economic Growth, Terry College of Business, University of Georgia, located in Athens, GA. The main responsibilities include obtaining externally funded contracts and grants and conducting economic and demographic research related to Georgia's current and future economic growth. In addition, the person in this position will supervise the center's Research Professional III and the center's student workers, prepare written reports, make oral presentations (speeches), perform administrative tasks at the direction of the center's Director, and perform other duties as required. This is a non-instructional faculty position.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification:At least three years of experience working as an economic analyst is preferred. In addition, a terminal Degree (PhD) in economics, applied economics, or regional economics is preferred.
