RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a leading financial institution in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Project Manager/Scrum Master. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the fraud program, ensuring its success through effective project management and scrum methodologies.Responsibilities:- Project Manager/Scrum Master will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the fraud program, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, development teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices, promoting self-organization and accountability
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track
- As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability, encouraging experimentation and learning within the team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to travel to the office as needed (1-2 times per month)
- Experience working in fraud detection or financial crime prevention programs is a plus
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification required
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum principles and practices, with experience leading agile teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members on agile methodologies and best practices
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile Central (Rally).
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
