About the Position

We are currently seeking a Project Control Analyst to join our Energy Team in Peachtree Corners, GA. This individual will have 5+ years related experience and/or training. The Project Control Analyst will participate in the financial planning, financial tracking, budget analysis and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, market, size, complexity, and level of risk; as well as interpreting procurement materials; and distill information for use in budget preparation. The Project Control Analyst will have significant interface with Accounting & Finance, Project Managers, Program Managers, Contract Management, Senior Technical personnel, as well as other functional areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validation of project setup to ensure proper revenue recognition and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to balance project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work with project team to proactively identify issues affecting project results and profitability.
  • Prepare cost presentations and participate in monthly and quarterly budget reviews with management.
  • Liaison among project managers, program managers, clients, subcontractors, and submittal reviewers.
  • Participate in project kick off meetings and prepare agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Assemble projects and technical documents as directed by directors, project managers, and engineers/architects.
  • Work with various project managers to ensure proper cost allocation of procurements to the project cost objectives.
  • Deliver understandable project trends and budget issues to the project team and management.
  • Support project teams across the company with Japanese-English translation and communicate with Japanese speaking vendors and subcontractors.
  • Assist in preparing proposal documents and compiling the proposal package.
  • Support Project Managers in project close-out, including verifying the subcontractors' payment date versus purchase order amount.
  • Coordinate with the administrative support for overall project execution, such as but not limited to:
  • - Assisting in the creation of design schedules, project work plans, etc. - Documenting/archiving project information.
  • - Preparing submittal packages.
  • - Assist in processing subcontractor invoices (including Japanese invoices) and preparing invoice packages to clients.
  • - Organizing team travel arrangements, if necessary.
  • - Developing project templates and formatting reports.
  • - Preparing graphics and images to include report covers, CD labels, charts, diagrams, posters, graphic design/rendering, and photo enhancements.
  • Verify subcontractors' certified payroll for accuracy.
  • Track multiple construction administration services projects simultaneously.
  • Review, update, and assemble invoice package and work with both project team and accounting for proper payment.
  • Skilled in analyzing complex technical specifications and bids.
  • Exercises excellent team work and is supportive of internal and external teams.
  • Must be able to work after typical hours as project requirements and company needs dictate.
  • Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat business.
  • Updates and maintains body of knowledge related to training, degree or job responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Math from a four year college or university; and five or more years-related
  • experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of project financial cost tracking of multiple projects including budgeted cost, estimates to complete and estimate at completions to include forecasting cost. Identifying accounting issues, research, and effectively communicate the results orally and in writing. Accurately recognize revenue and report accordingly.
  • 2+ years issuing subcontract agreements, purchase orders, managing vendors invoices and payment.
  • Fluent in Japanese and be able to converse, translate, and negotiate with Japanese contractors and vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products, Internet Explorer, and a working knowledge of Government software (such as RMS, PIEE, and eCMS), AutoCAD or equivalent, Prolog, P6 or equivalent preferred.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Project Analyst II with a salary range of $58,700.00 - $86,400.00 .
