JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope of Position

The Process Engineer performs engineering work in the analysis, planning and controls of the manufacturing process for the production of powder coatings.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Take measurements and interpret data.
• Trouble Shoot, Test and Upgrade Production Processes
• Develop solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Manage cost and time constraints.
• Develop and maintain processes and operating procedures.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping by following company 5S procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production and/or maintenance environment.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must perform as a flexible team member.
• Must be able to work successfully and lead in team efforts - experience in team leadership and/or participation.
• Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization, and technical partners from different industries.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong math skills.
• Knowledge and experience in 3D modeling simulation software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This position is bonus eligible.
