We are currently seeking a PMO Manager to create and guide the overall performance of TSI's Program Management Office. The successful candidate will provide leadership, training, and guidance to the Project Management team and ensure that the PMO processes and procedures are executed appropriately and effectively. Identifying key metrics and driving continuous improvement are an essential part of this role. The ideal candidate must be capable of identifying and tracking key performance indicators across the Project Management portfolio and managing and influencing stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project and deliverables.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the Project Management Organization with resourcefulness and transparency
  • Coach and nurture project management team and share knowledge of industry best practices
  • Set standards for project manager capabilities, including certifications, qualifications, and success measurement
  • Identifies and develops PMO roles, team configuration and capabilities needed to deliver PMO goals and objectives
  • Identifies and implements project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a process that supports all project teams and stakeholders
  • Reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve project management best practices in order to achieve improved project outcomes
  • Develops and reports out key metrics at both the project and portfolio level.
  • Ensure that the site portfolio of projects is delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Evaluate projects and provide guidance to ensure the PMO processes are executed properly
  • Provides regular program status reports at executive-level meetings with key stakeholders
  • Develop and present training sessions related to TSI's project management and new product development processes
  • Other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • BS degree in Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • Certification in Project Management (i.e. PMP)
  • Minimum of six years technical project leadership experience required, with proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results through metrics-driven, KPI-based methodologies; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - including prioritization, planning, task delegation and coordination across teams, to include budget management and tracking for large, high-visibility programs.
  • Minimum of 3 years managing within a Project Management Office environment
  • Experience managing projects with multiple technical disciplines (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded firmware, software, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, skilled at navigating organizational challenges and possess ability to work with through others and accomplish objectives
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to interface at all levels in the organization

  • Agile Development Certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading a Project Management Office
  • Experience starting a Project Management Office from scratch
  • Experience with new product development of measurement instrumentation
