Brigham and Women's Harbor Medical Associates, a member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is a multispecialty, primary care practice with more than 65 physicians. We have several offices across the South Shore and are affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, and South Shore Hospital.

The Opportunity

The Clinical Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of clerical and technical duties under general supervision. Responsibilities include specimen archiving, equipment maintenance, stocking material, specimen archiving, and other responsibilities as needed.

Principal Duties

  • Stocks and rotates material, reviews packing slips and removes boxes appropriately from the lab.
  • Specimen archiving and receiving.
  • Lab cleanup including but not limited to benchtops, centrifuges, refrigerators and freezers.
  • Identifies and removes expired material appropriately.
  • Performs moderate or waived testing as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous laboratory, healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with computers including Microsoft Windows software.
