Part Time Custodian/GroundkeeperLocation
Athens, TennesseeDescription
- Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition plant, office building, or similar building.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.
- Empties trash and garbage containers.
- Notifies supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment.
- May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
- May have exposure to nut allergens.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal).
