We are currently hiring for an Outside Sales Representative

The purpose of this position is to build and maintain customer relations and sales accounts in the Northeastern region of the USA, with the majority of the territory to include but not limited to Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Purpose solutions and sell customers on company products and services to meet their equipment needs.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company product, services and pricing structure
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs
  • Meet or exceed business sales goals
  • Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers
  • Work with different departments to ensure successful sales
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly
  • Regularly meet with Sales Manager to review sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
  • 4+ years' experience in similar sales position with proven record of growth
  • Experience in selling heavy equipment parts and components in the mining and industrial account sectors

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment parts, components and hydraulics
  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized with good time management skills
  • Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Willingness to be on the road daily calling on customer accounts. Some overnight stay required
  • Maintain a Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong computer skills
