Full Time 40 hours with benefits, shifts are 930a-6p w rotation to other shifts

Generalist Medical Technologist to work in Clinical Lab - STAT Chemistry, Hematology/Coag/UA, planting cultures and rapid micro testing. Hours 930a-6p with rotation to other shifts/wknd/hol per department need. Utilizes manual, semi manual or automated procedures to perform all assigned laboratory procedures. Uses standard operating procedure to provide accurate and timely results. Conducts maintenance on instruments; performs and reports appropriate quality control for assigned testing. Occasional Phlebotomy. Must be a team player, be reliable and posses positive communication skills. We use Sunquest LIS and EPIC.

Qualifications
Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Technologist preferred, BS, MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP), MLS(ASCP) .
• AMT also acceptable with Bachelor's degree in medical technology.
• Must have at least 3 years exp as a generalist med tech.
