You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Stearns Roger Services within Outage Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit, which is responsible for designing and upgrading nuclear reactor refueling equipment at commercial nuclear reactors. This opportunity is located in Lynchburg, Virginia.. Your work will include:

• Mechanical Design engineer for design of commercial nuclear fuel handling equipment, for projects ranging from small to large
  
• Complete mechanical design and engineering assignments required to implement the contract within budget/schedule for assigned projects
  
• Implements and follows through to completion a solution to address client's need
  
• Oversee fabrication of designs and construction of equipment
  
• Writing support documentation for equipment per the customer contract

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $73,000- $96,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
