Job Purpose

Manages production master data system in SAP. This would include all Resource Creation, Production Versions, Master Recipes, Packaging Instructions. This role will also be responsible for updating Material BOM's as well as Material Master's in SAP while updating MDG and PIF workflow systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of equipment resources in SAP allotting time and capacities per resource.
• Aligning equipment resources with production processes creating production versions to which SAP materials can be assigned.
• Creation of packaging instructions for all finished good products assigning production versions and BOM requirements to each.
• The creation of Master Recipes in which all SAP materials, Resources, and Production Versions are assigned.
• Complete management of the material Master Data in SAP.
• Interfaces with functions such as R&D/marketing/Supply chain and central engineering for the industrialization of new products, new raw materials, new packaging, and recipe changes ensuring those changes on the site are controlled and managed.
• Process Engineer will need to be multi-faceted: Able to communicate to various levels, able to understand quickly and interpret needs, lead teams, and drive results through others that are not direct reports.
• Provides expertise for on-site operations group during process-related troubleshooting issues- firsthand with production operators/quality techs.
• Develops process standardization (where applicable) and contributes to reducing variability on the different site processes.
• Promotes the quality system by adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
• Attend and participate in plant Programs/Committees/Training as required, such as Department Safety, Plant Safety, Behavioural Safety, Housekeeping Audit Teams, ISO, Life Saving Rules or any other safetyprograms.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering OR sufficient paint / chemical manufacturing experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience as CI, Process Engineering, or Chemist roles experience
• Prefer 2-3 years of experience in Coatings Industry
• Ability to utilize IT Tools and software such as SAP, MSOffice, etc.
• Ability to work independently and work with a team.

Total Compensation

• The salary range for these skills is $75,000 to $85,000 + 7.5% annual bonus.
