The Novelis North America Communications team is looking for a Marketing Communications Lead. The Marketing Communications Lead will help position Novelis as a leader in sustainability and innovation with customers, communities, and the media. Partnering with our leadership, commercial, and operations teams, you will steer Novelis' participation in external opportunities including trade shows, media interviews, and conferences. You will also contribute to our employee communications, corporate social responsibility, and social media objectives.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties & Functions)

  • Partner with Novelis North America leadership team members on conferences, media opportunities, and industry events
  • Counsel commercial teams on opportunities ranging from partnership meetings to on-site technical days
  • Contribute externally facing content for global website, social media channels, and B2B publications
  • Own logistics, activation, and measurement of trade shows
  • Partner with HR colleagues on branding campaign that positions Novelis as an employer of choice
  • Coordinate several vendor relationships including event planners, graphic designers, and PR agency
  • Support internal communications activities including leadership summit, town halls, Novelis Volunteer Month, intranet, and newsletters
Responsibilities & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
  • A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Success developing and executing corporate events and activities
  • Proven project and program management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
  • Track record of establishing positive working relationships across functions
  • Excellent eye for design, layout and detail
  • Collaborative working style
  • High energy and resourceful
  • Keen organizational and cultural awareness
  • Adaptable and open to new approaches and feedback
Location Profile

Novelis' Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis' North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people. Supporting its 24 operations worldwide Novelis' corporate office is home to the executive leadership team and global functions that support the automotive beverage can and high-end specialties value streams.
