Marketing Account Lead

We are a non-profit organization located in Oakbrook looking for help within Marketing Strategy team. The Account Lead position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs that support team initiatives. Under the direction of the Account & Marketing Strategy Department Manager, he or she will serve as the point of contact for assigned accounts to lead strategic planning and project management of marketing initiatives. This is a contract position covering for a leave of absence until the end of August with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule after training. The office is a in a great location close to the Oakbrook Terrace mall, lunch spots, and more!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the intake, set up, and project management of numerous projects for various division partners including Convention, Product, Club Supplies, and Marketing.
• Provide support for assigned Marketing programs and division accounts
• Support in management of projects and teams to ensure completion of projects on time and on budget; responsible for ensuring Marketing achieves milestones within scope, schedule, and budget.

• Assist in development of project plans and briefs, lead status meetings and maintain production schedules using in-house project management technology.
• Communicate and report project status to stakeholders on a regular basis.

• Work with Brand & Creative Team Manager and Account & Marketing Strategy Dept. Manager to negotiate and resolve any conflicts due to resourcing, prioritization, scheduling, changes, etc

• Cultivate positive communication between departments in the Marketing division.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2+ years of related experience (e.g., account or project management with a marketing background).
• Experience working with an agency or internal creative department a plus
• Global marketing and localization experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
