Description:
Our client in St. Paul, MN is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a family of specialty surgical companies that are passionately committed to partnering with medical professionals to help elevate the delivery of patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

*This role is fully onsite in St. Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and maintenance activities according to established protocols and schedules.
  • Execute IQ protocols for new equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Write clear and concise instructions for PM tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Update CAD models to reflect changes in equipment configurations or facility layouts.
  • Conduct pull testing experiments and analyze results to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot facility-related issues, such as utilities, HVAC systems, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, calibration records, and testing results.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in calibration and maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and detailed instructions for PM tasks.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for updating equipment models.
  • Familiarity with pull testing methodologies and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve facility-related issues.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
  • Training or certification in safety protocols and procedures.
