Wood is currently recruiting for a Junior/Intermediate Manufacture Execution System (MES) Consultant to join the Houston TX team. Our Consulting business is growing, and we are adding members to our team to support a new service line. Ideally this role would be seated out of Houston, TX, but a remote working arrangement will be considered for the right candidate.

If you are a Computer Science Grad who has the ability to understand business problems, write functional design and specifications, implement MES applications, as well as an interest in testing and deployment, then this role would be a great fit for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement MES solutions under the guidance of Technical Lead and Project Manager
• Collect information and functionality requirement from clients
• Develop functional specifications design and detailed design with data flow and process flow diagram
• Develop integrated system using given MES platform to automate business processes
• Configure and deploy the developed system to designated client environment
• Maintain and support the applications, resolve issues as needed

• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (preferred) or Engineering degree with coding experience
• Minimum 3 years of project experience in delivering digital solutions
• Knowledge in data integration
• Hands on experience on SQL database and SQL scripting
• Hands on experience on graphics
• Hands on experience with programming language such as JavaScript or C#
• Great problem solving and analytical skills to convert customer needs into comprehensive solution visions, value propositions and execution plans
