• Service Area - New York City Metro Area

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Manager, Systems Installation & Project Management Support, you will be responsible for :

  • All equipment installations in the NYC Metro market. You will directly manage dedicated Installation Engineers and oversee all aspects of installations to ensure all installation activities are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest quality.
  • You will act as a liaison and develop strong working relationship and communications path with all modality Business Lines, SCM group representatives, the Project Management team, as well as the U.S. sales and service organization from a technical installation standpoint.
  • You will be the point of escalation for any project management support requests for all installs.
  • You will manage productivity and cost containment for installations in addition to identifying any gaps/ training opportunities. Further improve Project Management, Installations and Logistics processes, explore new opportunities, and optimize timing of project milestones
  • You will lead cross functionally to ensure product turnover is completed on time, including overall responsibility for team KPI's including: Cycle Time, Install Quality, and Revenue Target

  • You have a deep technical knowledge of the installation activities and criteria of all in vivo modalities, and you understand symbolic architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical elements of equipment
  • You bring an intermediate understanding of construction, electrical and mechanical engineering to this role
  • You bring the ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external), but you demonstrate at the same time strong people management and people development capabilities with ability to manage and lead change in a dynamic environment
  • Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization
  • You demonstrate knowledge of organization's business practices and issues together with organization skills
  • You have a consistent track record of innovative thinking and process improvement
  • You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and committed to do what it takes to get the job done on time and with high quality

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Proven track record with 10+ years of successful demonstrations and experience with supply chain management, project management, and the installation of capital equipment
  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% and able to spend 50-75% of your time at customer locations which include large and small hospitals, and imaging centers in the NYC area.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Superior communication skills (written and oral) and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at many levels within the organization
  • Effectively present information to co-workers and employee groups, including upper management, customers at various levels and public representatives
  • Proficient knowledge of current MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Professional level knowledge on using analytical databases, complex Excel workbooks, and associated pivot tables.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record over the last three years.

The pay range for this position is $$135,640.00 - $$186,505.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is (10%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
