General Overview

The Manager of NSPG Endocrinology is responsible for leading operations of this specialty service line, which spans across the following locations: Lynn, Saugus, Swampscott, Salem, Peabody, Beverly, Danvers, and Rowley, MA.

They are responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting delays in lag time for patients in the department and ensure referrals are in place and appropriate.
  • Providing education and training to the Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) on decision tree scheduling, and act as a dedicated resource for PSRs.
  • Monitoring schedules for patients non-contacted insurances and proactively inform patients of resources to select accepted insurances to avoid open slots unutilized in endocrine schedules.
  • Providing administrative support to endocrinologists for expenses, coverage calendar distribution, and endo pool management for e-consults.
  • Monitoring template utilization, access availability or barriers, and vacation time to ensure the department is keeping to contracts.
  • Collaborating with the Administrative Director of Operations to identify workflow issues or improvement needs, participation in budget, and financial reviews.
  • Helping to roll out improvement work as it occurs across the sites.
  • Collaborating with Clinical Supervisor and Medical Director as necessary.

The ideal candidate profile is an adaptable, receptive, and dynamic "people leader" with proven operations experience.

Required: High School Diploma with a minimum 5 years of management experience in a physician practice or a related health care environment

Preferred: Relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree
