Summary

As a member of the Corporate Procurement team, this position will have dual primary responsibilities; 1) advanced analytical and process support for overall operational excellence and to inform and enable the development and execution of global category strategies and initiatives for all indirect good and services across the company, including global opportunities, and 2) daily administration and oversight of key procurement systems and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

- Conduct spend analytics, historical commodity baseline analysis and forecasting, category market benchmarking and intelligence, managing supplier information and optimization of the supply base to support global category strategy development.Develop and maintain category spend and savings databases and advanced dashboards.fr Executive Leadership. Preparing category performance reports for assigned categories.Maintain and verify accuracy of supplier and procurement related data across various company platforms and systems. Supporting and reporting risk management as required.Provide key insights, including industry and supplier capacity analysis, for short and long-term business continuity planning.Gather and evaluate external marketplace data, trends, offerings, benchmarks, and technology, and recommending relevant offerings to drive innovation.
- Ensure process excellence in delivery of procurement initiatives that maximize corporate, business, and functional priorities and objective.
- Provide internal and marketplace analytics in support of strategic category strategies. Collaborate with category leads, business partners and other Procurement teams to support key cross-functional and procurement initiatives that drive value and results.
- Lead sourcing project teams thru the multiple steps of the Strategic Sourcing process as needed.Develop and update Preferred supplier profiles, Category Profiles, category segmentation. Analyzing pricing across suppliers to ensure pricing is consistent across similar services. Support the analysis and review of supplier pricing requests as directed by category leads.
- Develop expert knowledge of critical systems and tools related to sourcing such as SAP and Zycus.Support design/development and automation of procurement processes and programs that align to organizational objectives and business strategies.Work with Risk Management Team ensuring alignment between supplier and commodity updates.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain is required
- Master's Degree or MBA preferred
