Legal Assistant

Seeking a Legal Assistant for a National Law Firm in its Civil Litigation department. 2+ Years of prior litigation experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is required. This is a fully in-office role.

Ideal candidates should type at least 70 words per minute and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe XI and have familiarity with document management and billing software programs. Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant Total Office and Juris time entry a plus. Most importantly, the candidate should be extremely organized, and be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure.

* Accuracy and proof-reading
* Handling routine tasks and communications
* Opening and Closing files
* Preparing and following up on settlement packages
* Independently handling various administrative issues
