Leasing Specialist

Our client, a real estate investment trust company located northwest of Boston, is seeking a temporary Leasing Specialist to join the team. This role is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm and pays $20 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Assist managers with various tasks, including project setup, tracking, and document creation.
• Review and understand customer requirements to create and submit applications through online systems.
• Coordinate the assembly and delivery/uploading of customer documents and project deliverables.
• Track and follow up on project-related items with internal teams, such as permits, zoning documentation, and compliance clearances.
• Support team members in processing applications through transactional components, including lease drafts and quality control reviews.
• Input project-related administrative data into tracking systems and ensure accuracy of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Familiarity with interpreting various types of documents, including legal agreements, is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Demonstrated experience in project management with a focus on data integrity and process improvement is preferred.
• Prior experience in the relevant industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and individuals.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
