JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our Farm Credit family! This position is responsible for completing organizational tasks for association learning programs and events. This includes coordinating, scheduling, announcing, recording, and preparing logistics for learning programs. Will coordinate with internal and external contacts to make learning programs run smoothly. Also assists with setting up other functions for the learning and development department.

Responsibilities:
Learning Program Support: Prepare and announce learning programs to the Association staff, which includes communicating with internal and external instructors and vendors, preparing contracts, and following up to be sure deadline requirements are met. Maintain and distribute the Association Learning and Development Events Calendar. Coordinate scheduling with other internal and external partners across the Association for learning programs. Maintain AGS Learning and Development email box respond and/or disseminate messages to the team as needed. Ensure learning program materials are ordered timely in collaboration with the subject matter experts (SMEs) and learning and development team. Ensure training budget details are distributed in partnership with L&D team.

Learning Management System Support: Responsible for setting up learning events and sessions in Career Café and closing them out in a timely manner to trigger evaluations and update employee transcripts. Support employees and managers with questions/issues in the LMS regarding roster management. Administer and track user records, online and instructor-led training courses and reference guides in the LMS (snapshots, course creation, user creation and related processes), and course registrations. Perform testing and implementation of LMS enhancements and/or conducts system testing as needed in collaboration with the Learning and Development team.

Talent and Organizational Development Support: Update position descriptions and ensures document is placed in the appropriate employee learning management system (LMS) file. Maintain the educational assistance program participants in partnership with the SVP, Talent and Leadership Development. Provide support and assistance for the yearly internship program.

Program (CPE) Administration: Serve as the Association's contact person for the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Assist in the approval of qualified learning programs in collaboration with the learning and development team. Calculate the CPE credits for each qualified training program. Apply the correct field of study to each learning program. Work with sponsors of qualified programs to be sure all requirements are met before the learning program begins. Create and send certificates for each qualified program. Reapply for the NASBA renewal each year. Store (electronically) program materials for 5 years.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, education and/or experience equivalent to an associate degree required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
• 3-5 years of operational support and meeting planning experience.
• Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to be comfortable working under pressure in a changing environment to meet varying deadlines, working independently and collectively within a diverse team environment.
