RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client located in Winter Park, Florida is looking for a Lead Developer.Responsibilities:- Providing technical leadership to the development team; This includes guiding the team in choosing the right technologies and architecture, designing and developing software components, and ensuring that the team adheres to coding standards and best practices
- Managing the development team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising team members
- Ensuring that the software developed by the team meets high-quality standards; This includes testing and debugging code, as well as ensuring that the team follows proper documentation and version control processes
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development; They must be able to identify opportunities for innovation and implement them through the development process
- Active participation in agile development processes
- Assist less experienced developers with technical and design challenges
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience using Java, C#, or another object-oriented programming language
- 5+ years of experience using SQL
- 3-5 years of experience with JavaScript
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a related field
- 1+ years of experience using Linux OS
- 1+ years of experience writing and deploying applications in the cloud
- Understand software lifecycle methodology
- Experience with Linux, Mac OS, and Windows
- Understand and lead use of enterprise integration patterns
- Understand and lead use of unit testing framework (JUnit)
- Understand and lead use of application frameworks (Spring)
- Understand and lead use of web services and microservices
- Understand client/server architecture
- Understand asynchronous message communication
- Understand process documentation
- Desire to learn and help others
- Motivated self starter
- Excellent organizational skills
- Methodical, consistent and patient approach to troubleshooting
- Participatory approach to team work
- Ability to help prioritize and juggle many small and important projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
