Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast is seeking a Wet Chemistry Analyst for the South Florida Branch in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

The Wet Chemistry Analyst is responsible for routine chemical and microbiological testing of drinking water and environmental samples. Specific responsibilities and expectations include the following:

• Performing basic laboratory tasks using Good Laboratory Practice
• Preparation of samples using method defined procedures
• Recording and Reporting analysis results
• Performing routine scientific instrument maintenance
• Preparing Chemical and Biological Standards
• Operating within the guidelines of Eurofins Environmental Health & Safety Plan

The ideal candidate would possess:

• 4-year degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.

• Ability to complete work within time and quality constraints
• Ability to work independently following written or verbal instructions
• Cooperate and coordinate both orally and in writing

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• BS, BA, or AS in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Microbiology Laboratory experience is a plus
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
