Job Description

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role understanding drivers of variance of forecast relative to plan, experience developing forecast models, experience interpreting historical financial performance in relation to forecast. Ability to manage large data sets and synthetize results for executive management. Proficient in all Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerBI

Nice to Have:

Experience with Clarity PPM as a forecasting tool and management of a capital portfolio.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Summarize monthly actual and forecast results to Portfolio Investment Councils, providing an explanation of variances relative to forecast and plan, respectively

2. Actively participate in Portfolio Investment Council providing insights into the financial performance of the portfolio

3. Process portfolio appropriation requests, ensuring information provided is accurate and complete and in alignment with approvals set forth by the Portfolio Investment Council and accounting principles as laid out by controllers

4. Support the modernization of the function including providing feedback on automation and leading specific efforts, as needed

5. Provide guidance to portfolio managers in their preparation of the monthly forecast and submission of appropriation requests
