Departmental Objective:

To support the "Students First" philosophy by providing exemplary service and support to attract, recruit, and enroll a diverse student body of students and to promote the success of CNU students in achieving their goal of obtaining a college education.

Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Director of Student Record Systems (SRS), this position will manage the successful implementation of the university Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software and other university systems to develop personalization and multi-channel communication options, relationship management strategies to attract, recruit and retain CNU students. The position works with the enrollment services offices, Office of Communications & Public Relations (OCPR), Student Affairs and third-party vendors in the areas of enrollment services leveraging university automated systems and processes to provide services to degree seeking students.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in software development, including analysis, testing, and implementation of web-based or desktop solutions.
  • Proficiency in an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language (such as Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with spreadsheets, including data analysis, manipulation, and visualization.

Additional Consideration(s):

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework in technology, computer science, or related fields, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Experience:
  • Familiarity with large-scale student information systems, web-based applications, client-server software, social media technologies, and/or third-party higher education software and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following systems:
    • SLATE
    • Hyland Perceptive Content
    • Hyland DataTransfer
    • Ellucian Banner Student
    • Tableau
    • Common Application
    • Desktop/web-based applications
    • Ad-hoc reporting and data analysis tools
  • Strong practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Admissions
    • Enrollment services
    • Communications and public relations
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying processes, particularly in response to changing directives within:
    • Recruiting and admissions
    • Student enrollment services
  • Experience handling confidential information
