The Winthrop Department of English boasts a vibrant and collegial team of 15 full-time faculty members, over 100 undergraduate majors and minors, and an English M.A. program. We invite applicants for a multi-year, non-tenure track Instructor of English position in support of the General Education Core and the English major. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced individual who can teach introductory and intermediate courses in writing, critical thinking, and literature. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise or teaching experience in the areas of either professional/technical writing or creative writing. Major Responsibilities:
Work Environment: This position requires daily contact with students, faculty, and staff on campus.
Employment Conditions: A nine-month, full-time, non-tenure track appointment. Salary is competitive and dependent on academic qualifications.
