Information Security Executive Advisor - Program Delivery Lead

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live in Cary NC, within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Information Security Executive Advisor - Program Delivery Lead is responsible for all aspects of the product delivery and services including strategy, and implementation engagements. Develops strategic and tactical plans for a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security program. Leads the development of policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls. Responsible for the selection and delivery of strategic network security, access control, and secure transaction/messaging solutions.

How you will make an impact:

• Will manage all aspects of the delivery of IAM program capabilities and services.
• Partner with Engineering teams to capture the appropriate estimates and prioritize work based on dependencies identified with all teams.
• Collaborate with intra-teams as well as with broader internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, business teams, and partners.
• Share information and results effectively and succinctly with the right level of information detail.
• Able to understand customer expectations; authentication security industry best practices; current gaps & technical constraints; participate in developing the roadmap; drive requirements and ultimately partner with IT Delivery, Operations, enterprise teams (e.g. Cyber, Compliance), and third-party vendors to deliver the optimal customer experience.
• Establishes architecture oversight and planning for information and network security technologies; leads development of an information security risk management program that includes business, regulatory, industry practices, and technical environment considerations; establishes strategic vendor relationships for security products and services; develops enterprise-wide security incident response plans and strategies that includes integration with business, compliance, privacy, and legal constituents and requirements; provides advanced level engineering design functions; provides trouble resolution and serves as a point of technical escalation on complex problems.
• Creates presentations and seeks IT and business management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major security technologies serving the Enterprise.
• Provides technical guidance and leadership to the technical engineers within the organization. Participates in the design of the enterprise architecture.
• Proposes opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
• Research relevant trends and activities in healthcare, business, competition, and regulatory environments; recommend strategy adjustments.
• Participates in enterprise planning activity, including vendor assessment, technology platform selection & retirement, prioritization, and integration.
• Capable of serving as technical merger & acquisition lead.
• Routinely acts as a subject matter expert for executive management.
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Lead the planning of product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BS/BA in Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Broad-based experience in planning and designing highly complex systems is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of Identity and Access Management and Information Security concepts and principles
• Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance.
• Security domain concepts related to Authentication, Authorization, SSO/Federation, and MFA.
• Experience with Privileged Access solutions.
• Strong 'self-starter' and initiative to navigate complex subject matter in a large organization.
• Experience managing the delivery of full-stack technical solutions.
• Strong agile product management experience including the ability to set vision, establish a roadmap, set goals, write stories, and execute.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, collaboration, communication (written, verbal, and technical), presentation, negotiation, influence, and problem-solving skills.
• Effectively lead or collaborate with cross-functional resources to manage and resolve interdependencies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven track record of successfully briefing team members at all levels of an organization.
• Must have good recall and be detail-oriented and highly accurate.
• Must be able to carry out verbal and/or written instructions.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
