Job Description and Responsibilities:

Geospatial Analyst is an entry-level full-time position
Tactica Management Services (TMS) is looking for a GIS Analyst to support the Fort Liberty Directorate of Public Works (DPW) on-site in Fayetteville, NC
Candidates will be responsible for geospatial data layer creation and maintenance, visualization and analysis support, space utilization data management, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure & Environment (SDSFIE) compliance.
• Global Positioning System (GPS) services and field data collection.
• Geospatial data creation, update, and maintenance in accordance with Army IGI&S Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
• Mapping, printing, and plotting of cartographic products.
• CADD to GIS or GIS to CADD conversion
• Spatial analysis.
• CAD and Enterprise Proactive Real-property Interactive Space Management System (ePRISMS) data management.

Job Requirements:

• Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or IT related field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in GIS using ArcGIS 10.x Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and related geospatial software tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with Bentley MicroStation or Autodesk CAD programs.
  • Prior experience performing field data collection with hand-held GPS units.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Working experience applying GIS technologies to help understand and resolve business issues.
  
  Desirable capabilities and experience:
  
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with Army IGI&S Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs)
  • Knowledge of SDSFIE and DoD IGI&S data standards.
  • Prior experience managing loading, viewing, and manipulating ePRISMS data.
  • Advanced experience and progressive competency in Esri software to include collecting, editing, manipulating, analyzing, and maintaining geospatial data in a versioned environment.
  • Advanced experience working with spatial, analytical, and cartographic techniques.
  • Advanced experience creating and manipulating spatial data from a variety of sources such as CAD drawings, GPS data, as-built drawings, historical maps, and survey notes.
  • CompTIA Security + Certification.
  
  Physical Requirements:
  
  Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting of equipment up to 25lbs.
