The Financial Controller for Surgical Therapies Business Line is responsible for providing financial oversight, leadership, and support in all areas of business operation and financial controlling for the Siemens Healthineers North America (NAM) Surgical Therapies Business. This role reports to the VP Finance of NAM Advanced Therapies Business Area and is the Finance Partner to VP of NAM Surgical Therapies.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Financial Controller for Surgical Therapies Business Line, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Siemens Healthineers NAM Surgical Therapies business from a Finance perspective for Equipment and Service transactions.
• Driving profitable growth through analysis and engagement with both operational and sales teams, support of compensation plan design and special incentives.
• Ownership of local price book, perform deal reviews and price approvals.
• Supporting Surgical Therapies management with financial analysis, identification of opportunities and mitigation of risks to achieve business targets.
• Driving and implementing financial solutions for customers.
• Managing the budget planning, forecast and closing processes and interact with many layers of the organization including international team members.
• Surgical Therapies Business Line Profit & Loss responsibility plus reporting and KPI monitoring; ensure full integrity of books and records.
• Driving process improvements and digitalization initiatives for efficiencies.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• BS/BA Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or applicable degree. Advanced Degree Preferred.
• 10 plus years of Finance/Business Administration experience and current knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, experience in managing Profit & Loss of a business is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of strategic business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to form relationships and collaborate across global matrixed functions.
• Excellent project and people management skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
