This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Functions

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned

Tasks

Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening at the Spadra Feed Mill. Standing, lifting 50# periodically throughout the shift, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. These positions work in a hot and humid to cold and damp and dusty environment.

Applicant must be able to communicate with other team members and management, this position will require to write tickets and fill orders.

Team Member selected must have 10 points or less to bid. Team Member must maintain 10 points or less or Team Member will be required to return to general production to an open available position. Team Member selected must also have no written warnings with suspension in the previous 6 months and no written warnings in the previous 3 months to be considered for this position.

**This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations or external applicants will then be reviewed for consideration.
