Join us as an Executive Director, External Supply Chain, where you will be responsible for managing supply of critical custom raw materials, drug substances, and drug products, as well as analytical testing, and other CMC projects from CDMOs. This role is based in Santa Monica, CA and reports to the VP of Supply Chain. This is your chance to break new ground and leave a collective legacy in the field of Cell Therapy Operations!

Accountabilities:
As an Executive Director, you will develop short, mid, and long-term supply strategy and plans for non-viral and viral gene editing materials and drug product produced at CDMOs. You will influence CMC product and operations strategy based on CDMO supply and drive CDMO execution and innovation to support Neogene/AZ's CMC, clinical, and commercial roadmap and timelines. You will also lead cross-functional teams for management of ongoing operations and performance at CDMOs.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of sixteen (16) years with BS/BA, or minimum of fourteen (14) years with MS/MA or MBA, or a minimum of twelve (12) years with PhD.
- 12 plus years in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- CMC, process development, and/or manufacturing preferred.
- Cell and Gene therapy and CDMO management preferred.
