The Excellerate Constructability Specialist is responsible for taking construction information and translating the information into the production process. This role works hand in hand with Preproduction, VDC, Engineering, Operations, and Project Management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3+ years of field and/or manufacturing experience

Travel: 0-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drawing review and redlines of fabrication, manufacturing, construction prints.
  • Maintaining product drawings, including redlines and as-builts in folder structure for access to all.
  • Provide ongoing electrical mentoring and support for detailers, modelers, Preconstruction, and Excellerate Production Team.
  • BIM issue and RFI resolution.
  • Manufacturing review of model to align with production.
  • Proactively looking for building clashes and providing solutions.
  • Coordinate with VDC and Engineering on changes of missing parts and information in construction and fabrication drawings.
  • Breakdown manufacturing drawings to a level of detail that can be understood in production cells and integration.
  • Adjustments to builds to streamline installation/creation.
  • Verification of specifications and submittals for building methods.
  • BOM creation, review, and identification of missing parts and information.
  • Material allocation from BOM (cell vs. integration).
  • Material ordering alignment and schedule priority lists due to lead times.
  • Alternative vendors due to lead times, quote or bottle-necking.
  • Verifying and/or creating wire length schedule and pull sheets based off one-lines.
  • Issue purchase request for larger projects (commodities, fabricated items, specialty items).
  • Perform checks with vendors on long lead time items.
  • Assist Preproduction with the request for pricing and proposal process.
  • Set standards for fabricators on the proper identifying of fabricated materials.
  • Utilize field experience to develop and lead coordination / detailing plan for assigned projects.
  • Supports QA/QC process.
  • Capture and assist with the evaluation and implementation of lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Demonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.
  • Drive utilization of established processes and standards for Preproduction and Production teams.
  • Support and provide input to the production floor layout.
  • Support FTI leadership with coordination items during project execution.
  • Support Excellerate Production Team during floor production.
  • Support evaluation and selection of tools, material, and supply chain.
  • Understands Excellerate capabilities.
  • Support of project deliveries through coordination with customer representatives.
  • Receive and capture feedback from project teams on sequence, duration, logistics, and work package content.
  • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
